Robben: 'I'll see Chelsea to title'

Arjen Robben today expressed his determination to play again this season and help seal the title for Chelsea.

The Dutch winger has been ruled out for a month with a bruised ankle but is confident of returning in time to play a significant part as Chelsea's campaign reaches its climax.

Robben limped out of Holland's World Cup qualifier against Romania on Saturday after just 21 minutes but his injury is not as bad as was first feared. A second scan on his left ankle yesterday showed there was no break and he hopes to return to full training in a fortnight.

Robben, 21, said: "I'm very relieved as it could have been a lot worse. When I saw the tackle again I feared the worst, but I should be running again in two weeks.

"I will play again in the Premiership and still hope to play in the Champions League."

Robben has stayed with the Dutch squad for treatment ahead of tonight's World Cup qualifier against Armenia but will return to Chelsea for his rehabilitation to continue tomorrow.
