Scots could lose out in Vogts race

Former Germany coach Berti Vogts today admitted that the Scottish Football Association is not the only one vying for his services.

Vogts has said he would be "very interested" in succeeding Craig Brown, who stepped down in October, but he insists he has other offers available when his one-year contract with Kuwait ends.

Vogts said: "There have been enquiries from two other countries who want me as manager, and two clubs have contacted me.

"But I'll be talking to the Scottish FA again at the end of January and maybe it is possible to go there on 1 July when my contract ends."
