Taricco banned for three games

Tottenham defender Mauricio Taricco has been banned for three games after the Football Association finally found the Argentine guilty of violent conduct.

Taricco was charged by the FA five months ago using video evidence over two incidents involving Chelsea's Damien Duff and Scott Parker at White Hart Lane. Referee Steve Bennett did not act at the time.

At a personal hearing yesterday, Taricco, who is out of action with an ankle injury, was found guilty of violent conduct against Duff but not guility of improper conduct against Parker. He will serve his ban with
