Vella nets new Rovers deal

Hull KR captain Mick Vella has signed a two-year extension to his contract, committing himself to the club until the end of the 2011 engage Super League season.

The 28-year-old Australian prop forward is in his second season at Craven Park, having joined Rovers on a three-year deal from Parramatta.

"I feel at home here and thoroughly enjoy playing for Hull Kingston Rovers," he said. "I'm looking forward to spending the coming years alongside some great players and coaching staff."
