Wise looks for reinforcements

Dennis Wise wants to add to his squad because of the number of high-pressure games Millwall face.

His team are in a play-off position and tomorrow face promotion rivals Ipswich at Portman Road.

They then go to Tranmere for an FA Cup quarter-final replay on Tuesday and are confident of securing a place in the semi-finals against Sunderland.

Player-manager Wise is desperate to keep their hopes of lucrative league and cup success alive, but thinks that would be easier if he brought in one or two loan players.

He said: "I would like to get players in, but it is not that easy at this stage of the season.

"We have not got a big enough squad to be able to just rest players, so it is just a case of getting it right with the training and rest."

Wise and Darren Ward are both doubts for tomorrow because of knee injuries and Marvin Elliott and Andy Roberts may be recalled.

Goalkeeper Andy Marshall, who is on loan from Ipswich, has been cleared to play.
