Wizards coach loses magic

Leonard Hamilton, selected as a rookie coach by former Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan for his Washington Wizards team, has quit after his first season.

The Wizards season was brought to a close by the 98-92 defeat by Toronto and Hamilton said: "It's in their best interests that I allow their progress to move on with me going in another direction."
