The fascination with live television is endless and what happens behind the scenes is often more interesting that what is seen on screen – from the workings of the studio cameras to the director in the gallery it takes a team to turn the programme into a slick operation.

As is the case with Lorraine who have let the cameras behind the scenes on the ITV morning show.

The video follows award winning and impossibly cheery presenter, Lorraine Kelly as she goes about a typical day at work.

She shares her routine from the early morning meeting with producers to sitting in hair and make-up and going through scripts to being in the studio.

Lorraine also talks about the perks of her job and says she is very lucky.
