The cast of EastEnders pulled out all of the stops as they swapped Albert Square for Children In Need.

The cast danced their way into the studio as they performed to Puttin' On the Ritz from Top Hat.

Shane Richie led the ensemble as he re-joined his former co-stars for the musical number.

Bonnie Langford – who plays Carmel Kazemi on the BBC soap – showed off her moves in a red leotard while Pam and Les Coker waltzed across the stage.

Shona McGarty who plays Whitney Dean looked close to doing the splits after showing off her moves with Richard Blackwood.

A small group of children won over the viewers when they joined in the routine with the soap stars.

The dance also saw characters Patrick Trueman (Ruldolph Walker), Kim Fox-Hubbard (Tameka Empson), Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald), Lee Carter (Danny-boy Hatchard), Kathy Sullivan (Gillian Taylforth), Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatara) and Paul Coker (Jonny Labey) show off their moves.

The cast will later be joined in the Queen Vic by Peter Andre, who earlier in the night performed a jazz version of his hit Mysterious Girl.
